Rebekah is a certified Reformer and Matwork Pilates instructor with a uniquely multifaceted background spanning communications, marketing, senior leadership, and natural health science, prior to attaining her pilates certification. Throughout her fast-paced career progression during her twenties, she built a reputation as an empathetic leader who communicates with clarity, creativity, and intention.

Alongside her corporate success, Rebekah worked through some health challenges that led her to studying a Diploma of Natural Health Science, and with support from healthcare professionals was able to overcome these challenges. Throughout this time, Pilates was the through-line: a practice she has and continues to commit to for over seven years as a source of strength, balance, and personal grounding.

In 2025, at the height of her career, Rebekah made the decision to undertake Pilates instructor training. What started as a personal passion evolved into a calling, an opportunity to have a more direct, meaningful impact on the wellbeing of others. She found fulfillment in helping people reconnect with their bodies, build thoughtful strength, and feel genuinely supported.

Her professional journey began with studies in Journalism and Visual Design, which evolved naturally into a career in marketing, where she quickly grew into business development and senior management roles. Along the way, she became trained in DISC Behavioural Profiling, developing a deep understanding of how people think, communicate, and respond to support. This expertise now shapes her Pilates teaching style, enabling her to connect with and adapt to all communication and learning styles, and levels of experience.

Today, Rebekah blends the strategic insight of her corporate and communications background with her purpose-driven approach to movement. In addition to teaching in select boutique studios in Brisbane’s Bayside area, Rebekah created BX Movement to offer private sessions (coming soon) and curated events, to combine her love of travel, meeting new people, and building connections. Through BX Movement, she creates uplifting, intentional movement experiences grounded in empathy, communication, and connection.

  • I teach contemporary Reformer and Mat Pilates with a strong focus on functional movement, strength, mobility, and mindful control. My sessions are designed to be accessible yet effective, supporting everyday movement, injury prevention, and long-term wellbeing.

    Pilates events are Mat only, and privates will be a hybrid offering of Mat and Reformer.

  • My Pilates sessions are suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced movers. We tailor both private sessions and events to suit your needs and experience level.

If you are beginning your pilates journey, a few private sessions can be a great way to prepare you for a studio setting to ensure you feel empowered to enter a group environment. Or, if you prefer hands-on adjustments and a completely personalised experience, privates might be the way to go.

  • Coming soon! I’m currently creating a home-studio space to offer one-on-one private Pilates sessions tailored to your goals, experience level, and movement needs. Private sessions are ideal for personalised programming, confidence building, rehabilitation support, or refining technique.

  • Absolutely. I run Pilates events for hens parties, bridal groups, corporate teams, retreats, and special occasions. Sessions can be held on location and are designed to feel inclusive, energising, and grounding while still delivering real physical benefits.

  • I can deliver on-location events in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay, and surrounding areas as part of the packages outlined on my events page. For events beyond these locations, I can curate an experience with additional related travel costs to be added. Contact me to discuss your event.

  • Yes. I offer Pilates events designed specifically for corporate teams, focusing on posture, mobility, stress reduction, and sustainable strength. These sessions are ideal for workplace wellbeing initiatives, offsites, and retreats.
